Went went to the hospital for fun, and came home with a baby!

Wow, so June 30th 2005 will be forever remembered (at least by all of us) as the day our premiere progeny came forth unto the land.

Tobias Alexander Proulx, 5 pounds 11.6 ounces of fury!

Becoming a parent is an exciting and confusing operation. Everyone continues to ask us if we're ready for the change. How are we to answer that? I have no idea if we're ready until we experience something that we're not ready for. Until then, we'll happily exist in a state of foggy disillusion and nieve ignorance.

Its stated rather matter of factly that having a baby will change your life forever (for good of course), and while I'm definitely on board with how much love I feel for the little guy after a day and a half, I feel that the amount of stuff that a 19in. human being brings with him is the biggest change. We now live in the world of Baby. This is what Dorothy felt like upon landing in OZ. We'll make the most of it while it lasts.
