Merry Christmas!

We had a very merry Christmas, especially Tobias. He made out like a bandit! Here he is on his new trike that grandma and grandpa got for him.

Nikita in her Christmas sweater :)

here's T playing with the instrument set he got from mom and dad. He loves banging on stuff with those sticks!

Justin and T at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Christmas eve.

Here's T opening his first present.

here's Tobias being loopy because he didn't go to bed until after 9:00 and he usually goes down at 7:00 :)

Ice Cream in Reno!

So for cousin Emily's birthday T and Emily got to have "cream cones" after lunch. This was a first for T and he wasn't so sure how it worked. He tried a spoon...

and a bannana...

then finally figured out to just use his mouth. Cheers!

Halloween in Reno

So we stripped the kids down and let them go crazy with the pumpkin pulp. they had so much fun! I think they were entertained by it for about an hour which is a long time for a 16 month old and a two year old! Below you'll also see T and Emily in their costumes. Tobias was a lion and Emily was a Puma.

Reno

Tobias and I took a trip to Reno to visit His Aunt Niki, uncle Justin, and his cousins. It was a chaotic, but fun trip! We all went on a hike together and that squiggly trail coming out of the side of the N is what we hiked down with all the babies!

Tobias became very fond of Aunt Niki's "crock" shoes, also known as the "duck" shoes, and he loved wearing one of them around the house.

Here's Uncle Justin taking a break on the side of the trail with T and Emily.

Here's Uncle Justin trying not to slide down the trail with the stroller!

A day in the Life...

Here's T very happily playing the metal bowl drums. He was very excited to discover the sound that wood on metal makes!

Here "Auntie" Jamie is helping T into his new ride, but it's a bit snug.

This is just a sweet outfit put together by T money himself.

First Rainy Day

We had our first rainy day of the season on my birthday! Tobias had fun going out on a rain walk with dad. He looks so cute and puffy in his jacket :)

Guess What?

For those of you who don't know already...I'm pregnant! I'm about 14 weeks along now. It's taken me a while to get this posted on the blog! It's about 1 am right now and I can't sleep (due to my wonderful allergies and pregnancy light-sleeping) so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to post. I have been suffering from morning sickness and exaustion for the past two months, which has been horrible, but I'm coming out of it. Instead of feeling sick 24 hours a day, it comes and goes. Now I'm battling allergies because I can't take my normal medicine when I'm pregnant. I also sleep very lightly when I'm pregnant so I get woken up at night all the time by any kind of noise. even a cat rustling around outside our bedroom window will wake me up. So It's probably been about two months since I've gotten a full nights sleep! People say this is "training" for when the baby comes, but my answer to that is "I already have a baby. I don't need training, I need sleep!" So anyway, the baby is due March 22nd. We will hopefully find out if it's a boy or girl on October 9.

Aside from the pregnancy issues, things have been going well. Justin loves his job at Cisco working with new college hires. He helps them to find a group that they fit into at Cisco once they get hired and he coordinates all their training and getting set up with badges and laptops and all that. The last class of people he had come through apreciated his work so much that they got together and gave him a gift certificate to the Left Bank, a nice restaurant that is a real treat! We'll be celebrating our thrid anniversary on October 3rd, two days after my birthday, so we'll probably treat ourselves to a nice dinner.

Tobias is almost 15 months old and is a rambunctious little boy. He is very fun, but tries my patience multiple times a day. He can walk now and is starting to try and talk. One of his favorite words is "Dog" which he pronounces without the "g" on the end. However, he hasn't sorted out yet that "Dog" is the name for only one kind of animal. So all animals are dogs at this point- squirrels, fish, cats, sea lions, are all called dogs :) In the picture above, you can see him "helping" me with sweeping. He loves playing with the broom for reason. There's a bunch more pictures below to check out too.

here's Justin giving T a ride in his new shopping cart that his grandma Jensen got for him. he loves to push it around the house.

Stretching out after an afternoon nap. I just had to get a picture of that nap hair!

Awwwww, so cute!

Nothing like cooling off in the sprinklers on a warm September day.

there's also nothing like making a mud puddle and jumping in it!

Here's another sweeping picture.

This is us at Tim and Treasure's wedding at Nestledown, in the Santa Cruz mountains. It was a beautiful wedding and T wasn't too badly behaved :)
