June Foodie Club


After six months of having our schedules not match up, the planets aligned and our Foodie Club was re-united! The theme was berries and the food was fantastic, as always, and the company couldn't have been better. Next time I'll have to remember to take pictures of our friends too :)







For the first course we had turkey and berry spring rolls with a rasberry sauce and blackberry stuffed turkey meatballs. I never would have thought of putting berries inside meatballs, but it was yummy!








For the salad course we had a mixed green salad with berries, herb goat cheese, pine nuts, and a blackberry vinaigrette.












For the main course we had Rasberry and Balsamic glazed chicken wrapped in bacon, steamed green beans with rasberries, and a wild rice and blueberry tart.










and Berry bread pudding for dessert. mmmm...
