CORRECTION

Kiernan weighs 12 pounds, 2 ounces. Not 2 pounds!

We got a Family car!

Thanks to our very loving and gracious friends we now have our very first van! We are so blessed to have such awesome friends and an awesome church family who all pitched in to give us this wonderful gift, including money for insurance and minor repairs! This is a huge answer to prayer and will make life easier for us since we have been sharing one car for the past two years.

Kiernan, 2 months and Tobias the stellar Bro!

Tobias is becoming a very good big brother! He looks out for Kiernan and likes to hold him and give him kisses, when he's not pounding on him:)











Kiernan had his two month check up today and he now weighs 2 pounds, 2 ounces and is 22 inches long! He's grown so much!















I think 6 of the 12 pounds must be in his cheeks:)

Here's Kiernan and his smile in all it's glory! He was laying on his side and I turned the camera so we could see his smile right side up. That's why the picture looks kinda weird :) He's 8 weeks old now and he started smiling a couple of weeks ago, but It's taken me this long to get it on camera!

Happy Easter!

We had a lovely Easter Sunday. We went to church and they had a pancake breakfast afterwards with strawberry pancakes. T was so thrilled about that!

We also did an Easter egg hunt at church. T really enjoyed that.















He enjoyed it even more when he found out that the eggs weren't just great for throwing, but there were also treats inside!













In the afternoon we had another egg hunt with our dear friends, the Shields (you may remember Taylor and Troy from our wedding, but they are much bigger now!). Only this time there was money in the eggs! Tobias was very generous and decided to share his loot.

Kiernan weeks 4-6 and Tobias the big Bro

I've been finding that's it's not as east to update the blog with two kids as is it with one! But I'm doing my best :) Kiernan is growing very very fast. He is becoming a little "chubba wubba" :) He's sleeping quite a lot during the day and not so much at night. I'm trying to force him to wake up more during the day so he can straighten out.







He is a very cuddly little guy. he loves sleeping on mom or dad's chest. Sometimes he ends up there all night just so we can get some sleep. He's not a big fan of his crib!












Here's Tobias catching some Z's in his interesting napping spot- a nest of blankets he made on the floor between the bed and the wall. It's weird, but not the first time he's chosen that spot.










Super Close Up! So we've decided that Kiernan doesn't look like anyone in our family yet. The best comparison we can come up with is that his nose, mouth, and chin look like Tobias' did when he was that age, but his eyes and head are different. look back in the blog archives and see what you think.

Here's a cute shot of T, the little bruiser. Don't mind the goose egg on his forehead and the gash under his eye. They are a just a couple of the wounds he has acquired recently. He's constantly challenging gravity. he hasn't figured out yet that "it's the law" and it always wins :)
